Laura is a Principal Planner based in the Leeds Office and has over 14 years of experience within the public and private sectors across the UK with 11 years being a Chartered Member of the RTPI. Laura originally joined ID Planning in 2017 before undertaking a period of work with DPP in Newcastle upon Tyne then re-joining ID Planning in May 2026. Prior to this Laura worked for Bidwells in Cambridgeshire and as a Policy Officer for Northumberland County Council. Laura has a wide range of experience collating and managing Applications across all sectors, with particular experience in major residential, commercial, education, student accommodation, and mixed-use development projects. Laura is also experienced in undertaking EIA and the preparation of Environmental Statements, and screening and scoping reports.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her children, travelling and enjoying a glass of prosecco in the pub. She is also on her local school’s PTA, organising and running fundraising events throughout the year.
