Walliker Street

The site is located in west Hull and at the southern end of two streets (Walliker Street and Perry Street) to the south of the main Anlaby Road. The site lies just north of the railway line and is currently a mix of hardstanding and some grassed areas with individual trees.

The proposal seeks to extend the existing pattern of terraced development fronting each street through provision of six 2 bed 4 person homes whilst also retaining existing green space towards the railway line. With off road parking provided the proposal ensures an acceptable layout with turning areas for vehicles.

The design of the semi-detached houses would adopt a modern contemporary style whilst taking full account of the local context and location at the end of a run of terraced properties, extending the built form of both Walliker Street and Perry Street further south.
